Abstract

The present invention provides a device and method for reducing temporal noise of a target image frame and enhancing motion of the target image frame. The device includes: a storage device, a temporal noise suppressing circuit, and a motion enhancing circuit. The storage device stores a first filter signal corresponding to a previous image frame. The previous image frame is located before the target image frame. The temporal noise suppression circuit reduces the temporal noise of the target image frame according to the first filter signal and a first color signal corresponding to the target image frame to generate a second filter signal corresponding to the target image frame, and stores it on the storage device. The motion enhancement circuit performs motion enhancement on the target image frame according to the first and second filter signals, and generates a motion enhancement signal of the target image frame.
