Problems solved by technology

Since the timers between nodes are set independently, it is unavoidable that a large number of nodes perform queries in a short period of time, especially when multiple nodes perform queries at the same time
This will lead to the problem of system performance degradation caused by too frequent queries, which will cause an impact on the system CPU and seriously affect the real-time performance of the system.

Embodiment Construction

[0019] In the detailed description in this section, preferred embodiments of the invention have been shown and described, merely by way of illustration of the best mode contemplated by the inventors of carrying out the invention. As it will be realized, the invention can be modified in various obvious respects without departing from the invention. Accordingly, the drawings and description are to be regarded as illustrative in nature and not restrictive.

[0020] The present invention provides a technical solution for querying nodes in a system. By setting the system query period and the node query period of each node, when the system query period arrives, a node in the node query period is queried. Since the technical solution of the present invention only queries one node when the system query period arrives, it is ensured that the system can only query one node within a period of time, thereby avoiding the situation that a large number of nodes are queried in the system in a...

Abstract

The invention discloses a technical proposal for enquiring a node in a system, which includes setting the query periods for the system and each node. Arrival node of the node enquiry period is determined when the system enquiry period is reached; the node is to be enquired when only one arrival node exists in the node query period; one of the nodes is to be enquired when a plurality of arrival nodes exist in the node enquiry period; the node being enquired is deleted from a record of the arrival node in the node enquiry period. The technical proposal of the invention can avoid the enquiry to agreat deal of nodes in the system in short periods of time, guarantee the system performance and real time character and avoid the impact on CPU of a system. In addition, technical proposal of the invention is capable of ensuring the enquiry period of each node to a certain degree.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of computer applications, in particular to a method and device for querying nodes in a system. Background technique [0002] In systems, such as embedded and sensor systems, in order to know the working status of each node in the system, the system will periodically query the nodes it contains, so as to master the running status of the nodes and make the entire system run better. The nodes described herein can be physical entities or logical entities. For example, a port on a router is a node in a system that needs to be queried. [0003] In the prior art, a commonly used status query method is: setting a separate query period for each node, and performing status query on the corresponding node every time the query period arrives. Since the timers between nodes are set independently, it is unavoidable that a large number of nodes will query in a short period of time, especially when there are multiple nodes querying...
