Abstract

A method and a device for protecting the integrity of a digital rights management (DRM) file are provided and used for effectively solving the technology problem of a DRM file integrity protection. The method comprises: parsing a DRM file and obtaining the file header description information of the DRM file; searching a matched rights file from a rights database based on the file header description information, and determining an integrity level of the DRM file; and verifying the DRM file based on the integrity level of the DRM file and determining, based on the verification result, whether the use of the DRM file is allowed. The method realizes the requirements of the rights owners on the DRM content information integrity protection with less computations, less occupation of terminal resources, faster time and enhanced terminal security without affecting user experience compared with the prior art.
