Abstract

The invention discloses a baby-monitoring device and a baby-monitoring method. The baby-monitoring device comprises a sound sensor, and audio memory, an audio comparison circuit, a controller and a warning unit, wherein the sound sensor is used for sensing a sound signal in current environment; the audio memory is used for memorizing a corresponding sound signal when a baby is crying; the audio comparison circuit is used for comparing whether the sound signal sensed by the sound sensor accords with the sound signal when the baby is crying; if the sensed sound signal accords with the sound signal when the baby is crying, a warning signal is output; the controller is used for receiving the warning signal so as to generate a control signal; and the warning unit is used for receiving the control signal so as to send out a warning effect for reminding a caregiver of confirming current status of the baby.
