The invention discloses a method for realizing a charge system of a session initiation protocol (SIP) soft-switch platform, belonging to the technical field of remote authentication dial in user service. The method comprises the following steps of: making a call to a called subscriber by a calling subscriber; judging whether the calling subscriber is a defaulting subscriber or not by the SIP soft-switch platform, and if the calling subscriber is not the defaulting subscriber, sending a charge starting message to a charge server; judging whether the calling subscriber is a prepaid subscriber or not by the charge server and computing the longest call duration of the calling subscribers; sending a charge response message to the SIP soft-switch platform; forwarding an invitation message to the called subscriber by the SIP soft-switch platform and starting to make a call; after the call is ended, automatically sending a call end message to the SIP soft-switch platform by the calling subscriber or the called subscriber during on-hook, sending a charge stopping message to the charge server by the SIP soft-switch platform; and updating data in a database by the charge server.
