Abstract

The invention discloses a method for transmitting data in an intermittently-connected mobile network (ICMN). The method comprises the following steps that: each piece of mobile equipment in the network maintains a prediction matrix which meets with other equipment in the network; each row in the matrix corresponds to the prediction of the time when the equipment meets with other equipment; information source equipment generates a message needing to be sent to target equipment and transmitting permission at the same time; equipment i first distributes the message; and when the number of forwarding permission in the equipment i which carries the message needing to be forwarded is lowered to 1, the equipment i switches to a stage two and determines whether to hand over the copy of the message to equipment j for forwarding or not. The method solves the problem of network congestion caused by injecting too many message copies into the network, realizes a more effective accessibility utility function-based message distributing policy, and solves the problem that message distribution in a spray and focus (SAF) algorithm is too random; and low message transfer delay still can be obtained on the premise of restraining the number of the message copies which are injected into the network.
