Embodiment Construction

[0083] Figure 1A A stirrer 3 with a shaft 30 is shown, which is arranged rotatably in the stirred vessel of the purification chamber. In this figure, stirring elements 4 can be seen in particular which are offset relative to each other along the longitudinal axis. In the illustrated embodiment, the stirring elements 4 are offset by 90° relative to each other. The baffles 2 extending inwardly from the inner wall 10 of the stirred vessel can also be seen in this plan view. These baffles can protrude completely or partially into the recesses left by the stirring elements 4 .

[0084] The function is in Figure 1B is shown more clearly in . Figure 1B It shows that the baffles 2 that can be seen in this figure are tapered or narrowed towards the inside of the stirred vessel 1 . The baffles 2 are attached to the inner peripheral surface of the stirring container 1 in such a manner that the baffles occupy and make smaller the empty space between the individual stirring elements...

Abstract

The invention relates to a stirring system for molten glass and to a stirring vessel (1) and a stirrer (3). In this case, the stirrer (3) has a shaft (30) and at least one stirring member (4). The stirring member (4) is formed in such a way that the stirrer (3) can be introduced into the stirring vessel (1) by at least one axial or translatory relative movement of the stirrer (3) in relation to the stirring vessel (1), at least one subsequent or simultaneous relative rotation of the stirrer (3) in relation to the stirring vessel (1) and a further axial or translatory relative movement of the stirrer (3) in relation to the stirring vessel (1). In this case it is possible in the operating state for the stirrer (3) to be rotated in the stirring vessel (1). Furthermore the stirring vessel (1)comprises at least two buffles (2) extending from the inner cirumferential surface (10) stirring system and method for homogenizing glass melts.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a stirring system for molten glass, a corresponding stirring vessel and stirrer, and a method for assembling these components and for stirring molten glass. The invention relates in particular to a structural design of a stirring system for glass melts, stirring elements, stirrers and stirring vessels, which are made in their mode of operation, that is to say homogenization of the glass melt match each other. Background technique [0002] Structural components composed of noble metals and noble metal alloys such as preferably PGM (PGM equals Platinum Group Metals) are used in the glass industry, especially in plants for melting and thermoforming special glasses. These plant components used in melting technology, also known as PGM products, serve to melt, purify, convey, homogenize and distribute liquid glass. [0003] Such structural components are essentially solid PGM materials or structures consisting of high-temperature r...
