Abstract

The embodiment of the invention relates to a method and device for acquiring position of a transmitting antenna. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring the error rate of the signals of all transmitting antennae received by a mobile station at the located position; acquiring the domain average error rate of a cell in which the mobile station is located according to the error rate of the mobile station at the located position and the probability density function of the mobile station on the position; and acquiring the position of the transmitting antenna by minimizing the domain average error rate. The embodiment of the invention has the advantages that the problem of how to arrange the transmitting antennae in a two-dimensional cell to achieve the system performance optimization is solved, and the mobility of the mobile station is taken into consideration.
