Abstract

The invention discloses a centralized serial port redirection method, which comprises that: a blade sends the generated serial port data to an intelligent bus controller thereof; the intelligent bus controller performs intelligent platform management bus (IPMB) protocol encapsulation on the serial port data and then redirects the serial port data to an IPMB; and a frame administrator acquires the serial port data from the IPMB, and executes IPMB protocol processing and user presentation on the serial port data. The invention also discloses a centralized serial port redirection system. The method and the system realize centralized serial port redirection control of each scattered functional blade.
