Abstract

A bioactivity screening result indicates that the effective fractions of the cicer arietinum linn bean sprouts, namely the total saponin and the total isoflavone can suppress the growth of human adenocarcinoma colon strain Caco-2 cells by inducing cell apoptosis and are used for effectively inducing human adenocarcinoma colon cell apoptosis.
