Abstract

The invention provides an illumination environment simulation system used for an electronic device, wherein the system comprises a triangular grid module, an illumination environment configuration module, a calculating module and a display module. The triangular grid module is used for reading three dimensional objects from a storage device connected with the electronic device and performing triangular grid processing on the three dimensional objects. The illumination environment configuration module is used for configuring an illumination environment for the three dimensional objects subsequent to the triangular grid processing, and the configuration comprises the steps of determining an illumination scope, a light source position, an illumination direction and a light source intensity parameter. The calculating module is used for determining the real display color of each triangle in dependence on the initial colors of the three dimensional objects, the included angles between light rays along the illumination direction and the normal vector of each triangle surface, and the distances between each triangle and the light source position. The display module is used for projecting the three dimensional objects to a display device connected with the electronic device for output in dependence on the coordinate and the real display color of each triangle on the three dimensional objects.
