Abstract

The medicament comprises the following components: raw astragalus, densefruit pittany root-bark, belvedere fruit, lalang grass rhizome, puncturevine caltrop fruit, lightyellow sophora root, glabrous greenbrier rhizome, rehmannia root, tree peony bark, coix seed, scutellaria laterifolia, atraotydin, drgon's bones, oyster, garter snake, earthworm, leech, root poria, bitter orange and liquoric root. The medicament is prepared by the following steps of: frying the garter snake and the earthworm with soft fire respectively by adding yellow wine until the two medicaments are yellowish; putting talcpowder into a pot and frying until the talcpowder is hot; adding the leech, frying with soft fire, taking out, adding vinegar, soaking, and bailing out; and adding water into all the medicaments, decocting, taking decoction out, concentrating, and drying to prepare capsules. The medicament has the effects of clearing heat and promoting diuresis, detoxicateing, dispelling wind and arresting itching, invigorating spleen and tonifying vitality, and protecting liver and tonifying gallbladder and has 97 percent of effectual rate for treating the neurodermatitis.
