In the invention, by virtue of the enrichment characteristic of the polygonum runcinatum on the heavy metals mainly comprising cadmium, zinc, lead and copper, the polygonum runcinatum is planted in the contaminated soil so as to absorb and accumulate the heavy metals mainly comprising cadmium, zinc, lead and copper; and most part of the polygonum runcinatum is transported to an over-ground part so as to achieve the purpose of remediation of the soil contaminated by the heavy metals mainly comprising cadmium, zinc, lead and copper.
