The method comprises the following steps of: selecting a user equipment identifier corresponding to access identity for user equipment according to the access identity of the user equipment accessing an access point (AP); and generating a message carrying the user equipment identifier, and transmitting the message carrying the user equipment identifier to a network side to charge the user equipment by the network side. The embodiment of the invention selects corresponding user equipment identifiers for different user equipment identities, and informs the network side to satisfy the needs of differentiated charging among different APs and among different pieces of user equipment in the same AP.
