Abstract

The invention discloses an externally applied ointment for treating children eczema, which is composed of the following raw medicines: 20-30g of Atractylis ovata, 20-30g of angelica, 20-30g of white peony root, 10-20g of figwort root, 10-20g of plantain, 10-20g of fungus umbellatus, 5-15g of radix scutellariae, 5-15g of coptis and 5-15g of borneol. The externally applied ointment is prepared by the following steps of: pulverizing the raw medicines, screening with a 20-mesh sieve, uniformly mixing, adding medical vaseline or glycerine and processing into the ointment. The ointment is used by applying on an affected part two or three times a day and then gently massaging for a while. The externally applied ointment provided by the invention has the functions of clearing away heat, detoxifying, eliminating rash, relieving itching, expelling wind and removing dampness, and can be used for treating children eczema. In 53 cases of patients treated with the externally applied ointment, 48 cases are cured, and the effective rate reaches 90.6%. The externally applied ointment provided by the invention has the advantages good efficacy, rapid acting, low recurrence rate after curing, low cost, etc.
