Abstract

The invention belongs to the field of computer multimedia technologies and discloses a semantic mapping-based clothing image retrieving method. The semantic mapping-based clothing image retrieving method specifically comprises the steps of: constructing a clothing field knowledge base, acquiring semantic information of clothing images and retrieving clothing images to be inquired. According to the method disclosed by the invention, the clothing field knowledge base is constructed by means of multi-class feature clustering depending on existing clothing images and corresponding textual description information; clothing image information in the knowledge base, co-occurrence information of the clothing images and description texts in the knowledge base and clothing description text information in the knowledge base are fused by a Graph Cut model for acquiring cloth semanteme from the submitted images to be inquired; and similar clothing images are retrieved for the submitted clothing images according to the acquired clothing semanteme.
