Abstract

No registration pattern can be formed with a reference density due to environmental changes. In such a case, any registration cannot be formed until an image forming apparatus is controlled to be able to form a registration pattern with the reference density. To solve this problem, a CPU included in the image forming apparatus controls pattern forming conditions so that registration patterns of respective colors can match one another in density lower than the reference density.
