Abstract

In the step (1), 3.0-4.0g of transformer oil requiring detection is accurately weighed; an extractant isopropyl alcohol is added to the sample; the mixture is well mixed by shaking; an alkali blue 6B indicating agent is dropped into the mixture, such that a mixed solution is obtained; 0.05mol/L of a KOH ethanol solution is used for titration, until the color of the solution turns to light red. In the step (2), the extractant with a volume same as that used in the step (1) is weighed; the alkali blue 6B indicating agent is dropped into the extractant, such that a mixed solution is obtained; 0.05mol/L of a KOH ethanol solution is used for titration, until the color of the solution turns to light red, such that the titration reaches an end. In the step (3), the calculation is carried out according to the formula of: c(mgKOH/g)=(V-V0)*c(KOH)*M(KOH)/m. The method provided by the invention is simple and fast.
