Abstract

The invention provides a three-dimensional scene object boundary detection method, comprising the following steps of: calculating differential coefficients of a brightness characteristic, a color characteristic, a brightness texture characteristic and a color texture characteristic of each pixel of a three-dimensional image in multiple directions; merging the differential coefficient of the brightness characteristic with the differential coefficient of the brightness texture characteristic in the same direction of each pixel to generate a first differential coefficient, and merging the differential coefficient of the color characteristic with the differential coefficient of the color texture characteristic in the same direction to generate a second differential coefficient; merging the differential coefficients of each pixel in the multiple directions to generate a third differential coefficient, and merging the second differential coefficients in the multiple directions to generate a fourth differential coefficient; and calculating a probability of taking each pixel as a boundary point according to the third coefficient and the fourth coefficient, thus obtaining an object boundary diagram.
