The operating mechanism 15 is mounted on the front end of the housing 3 . The operating mechanism 15 is common to all three circuit breaker poles 10 and is connected to each pole by a pole shaft 33 having a driving lobe 35 for each pole. The drive lobe 35 is pivotally connected to a pair of carrier drive links 37 which translate the motion of the drive lobe 35 into motion of a pole member to separate the contacts of the pole.
