Problems solved by technology

At the same time, if the UE performs cross-PLMN handover, the MDT configuration information needs to be deactivated (without considering the EPLMN list set)
However, in the current handover process, the solution of how to fully consider the network sharing scenario in the signaling-based MDT and immediate MDT mode has not been fully considered. Therefore, a single processing method will cause the user to be on the EPLMN network that allows MDT. without corresponding MDT measurements

Embodiment 1

[0108] The MDT measurement configuration transfer process during the handover process in the LTE or LTE-A scenario is described as follows (combined with figure 2 , S1 interface switching process method 1):

[0109] S101: The source base station saves the MDT configuration information for the UE received from the MME.

[0110] S102: The source base station judges that the current UE needs to perform PLMN handover, the source base station selects a suitable target cell for the UE, and obtains all the home PLMN list information (that is, Broadcast PLMN list) of the target cell, and further selects target PLMN information for the UE.

[0111] Here, the method of obtaining all the home PLMN list information of the target cell can be obtained from the network management background or through X2 interface messages.

[0112] The source base station selects any PLMN from the intersection of the following two sets as the target PLMN information:

[0113] (1) All home PLMN list infor...

[0124] The MDT measurement configuration transfer process during the handover process in the LTE or LTE-A scenario is described as follows (combined with image 3 , X2 switching process method 1):

[0125] S201: The source base station saves the MDT configuration information for the UE received from the MME.

[0126] S202: The source base station judges that the current UE needs to be handed over, the source base station selects a suitable target cell for the UE, and obtains all the home PLMN list information (that is, Broadcast PLMNlist) of the target cell, and further selects target PLMN information for the UE.

Embodiment 3

[0138] The MDT measurement configuration transfer process during the handover process in the LTE or LTE-A scenario is described as follows (combined with Figure 4 , S1 switching process method two):

[0139] S301: The source base station saves the MDT configuration information for the UE received from the MME.

[0140] S302: The source base station judges that the current UE needs to be handed over, and the source base station selects a suitable target cell for the UE, and further selects target PLMN information for the UE.

[0141] The source base station selects any PLMN from the following set as the target PLMN information of the UE: the set of the UE's current serving PLMN and its allowed EPLMN lists (Equivalent PLMN lists).

[0142] When there is an intersection between the following two sets, the source base station determines that MDT configuration information needs to be transferred:

[0143] (1) A collection of the UE's current serving PLMN and its allowed EPLMN li...

Abstract

The invention provides a source network equipment, system and method for transmitting MDT (Minimization of Drive Test) configuration information in a switch process. The method comprises the following steps that: when terminals need to be subjected to PLMN (Public Land Mobile Network) switching, the source network equipment selects target PLMN information for the terminals; and in the terminal switching process, the source network equipment transmits the MDT measuring configuration information under a signaling-based intermediate MDT reporting mode to target network equipment when the following two sets, namely, a set including authorized PLMN lists allowed by the terminals or peer-to-peer PLMN lists allowed by the terminals and current service PLMN of the terminals, MDT PLMN in the MDT configuration information of the terminals stored in the source network equipment, have interactions. Due to adoption of the scheme, the MDT measuring management is better achieved under a network sharing scene, the MDT processing capability of operators under multiple EPLMN (Equivalent PLMN) and the peer-to-peer processing expect under main PLMN are met, and the network optimization capability is improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of wireless communication technology, and more specifically, the present invention relates to a source network device, system and method for transferring MDT configuration information in a communication system in a cross-PLMN (Public Land Mobile Network) handover scenario. Background technique [0002] In order to reduce the cost and complexity of operators using special equipment to perform manual drive tests, the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP, Third Generation Partnership Projects) organized the Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network (UTRAN, Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network) and the evolved Version 10 (Release-10) of the Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network (E-UTRAN, Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network) system begins to introduce a Minimization of Drive Test (MDT, Minimization of Drive Test) function. UTRAN includes a base station (Node B) and a radio n...
