A screen of the mirror display serves as a mirror when nobody is detected within a first range so that an electric power saving effect can be achieved. The screen of the mirror display shows advertisements completely when nobody is detected within a second range but somebody is detected within the first range. The screen of the mirror display shows advertisements completely when somebody is detected within the second range, and the part of the screen, corresponding to the position of the person, serves as the mirror; or the part of the screen, showing advertisements, is adjusted properly and the part of the screen, corresponding to the position of the person, is changed to serve as the mirror. The second range is smaller than or included in the first range. Besides, user characteristics or behavior modes in use of the mirror are analyzed so that the corresponding advertisements, which the users may be interested in, can be displayed. Further, user interfaces are provided for the users to complete interactive operation and then information of advertised goods can be provided for the users, so that the advertising benefits can be maximized and guided advertising marketing for users is achieved.
