Abstract

The invention relates to a mounting system for a differential comprising a transverse shaft, a first half shaft, a second half shaft and a yoke. The transverse shaft includes a major axis and a channel passing through the transverse axis and perpendicular to the major axis, the channel including a first hole and a second hole. The first semi-axis includes a major axis parallel to the central axis of the first bore. The second semi-axis includes a major axis parallel to the central axis of the second bore. The yoke is located within the channel and includes a first portion extending into the first half-shaft and a second portion extending into the second half-shaft.
