Methods, systems and apparatus for disambiguating contact information, including a computer program encoded on a computer storage medium. The method includes: receiving an audio signal; based on a frequency with which the user has previously communicated with a contact associated with the item of contact information, and further based on the frequency of one or more past interactions between the user and the contact associated with the item of contact information recency, generating an intimacy score; inferring a probability that the user intends to use the contact information item to initiate a communication based on the intimacy score generated for the contact information item; and generating a communication initiation grammar. Basic idea: An improved method of initiating a call by taking into account voice recognition with the call history of the call recipient or call destination when performing the voice recognition process.
