The invention discloses a magnetron missing pulse testing method which comprises the following steps: 1) an average value of microwave signal waveform output by a magnetron within a set time (the average time should not be less than 256) can be solved by utilizing average functions of an oscilloscope, and the average value is used as a reference signal; 2) a magnetron testing system is connected with a variable attenuator through a directional coupler, microwave signals output by the magnetron testing system are input to the variable attenuator, and signals at the output end of the variable attenuator can enable a detector to work within a linear detection area; 3) pulse signals can be obtained by enabling signals output by the variable attenuator to pass the detector, and the pulse signals are input to the oscilloscope; 4) the pulse signals are compared with reference signals within a set time, whether the pulse signals are missing pulse can be detected, and the number of the missing pulse can be calculated.
