Embodiment approach

[0053] The E-type base according to this embodiment has the following changes.

[0054] (1) The width dimension of the bottom of the groove 40 formed in the bulb neck 14 is narrowed.

[0055] Figure 9 It is a diagram showing a comparison between the width W1 of the groove bottom after change (A) and the width W2 of the groove bottom before change (B). Please note that in the figure, the groove 40 of the neck 14 made of glass and the unevenness of the thread portion around it are drawn with contour lines for easy identification. The width W1 of the bottom after the change is relatively narrower than the width W2 of the bottom before the change (W1

[0056] When the width of the bottom of the groove is narrowed, the plug assembly 60 as a whole is restrained in the groove compared with conventional ones, and the movement of the plug assembly 60 in the width direction is restricted. Therefore, it is considered that since the plug assembly 60 as a whole is in close contact...

Abstract

The present invention provides a lamp with an E-type lamp socket. A tank is formed on a screw thread part at neck part of a bulb in a lamp axis direction. The E-type lamp socket is provided with a metal body part which is internally provided with an insulator, and a metal hole member which is fixed on the bottom of the insulator, wherein the bottom of the insulator is exposed from the end of the metal body part. The metal body part is in threaded joint with the neck part of the bulb. A plug assembly is configured in a space which is surrounded by the tank and the metal body part. In two leads which extend out from the light source part of the lamp, one lead passes through the inner space of the insulator and is electrically connected with the metal hole member. One end of a wire is connected with the other lead, and the other end is electrically and mechanically connected with the outer circumferential part of the metal body part. The width dimension of the bottom of the groove at the neck of the bulb is formed in a manner of integrally restricting the plug assembly. A topmost screw thread valley part at the neck of the bulb is embedded before arriving at the groove, thereby enlarging the area of the inner wall surface of the tank. The tank expands upwards and forms a retreating area in which the plug assembly can move.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a lamp with an E-type base. More specifically, it relates to a lamp having a solder-free E-type base structure. Background technique [0002] In most cases, lamps are powered by a metal cap attached to a glass outer bulb (also called a "bulb") and screwed into a socket (not shown). figure 1 It is a figure explaining the structure of the base of the light. figure 1 (A) shows a HID (High Intensity Discharge, high-pressure gas discharge) lamp 10 as an example of a lamp. The base 12 of such a lamp is referred to as an E-type base (also referred to as "E base"). There are many sizes of E-type lamp caps, and the E that represents the threaded lamp holder is written together with the diameter of the screwed-in part in millimeters, and expressed in the form of E14, E17, E26, E39, etc. [0003] Such as figure 1 As shown in (B) to (D), the E-type lamp cap 12 is composed of three main components. In short, the E-type lamp cap 12 is ...
