Embodiment Construction

[0054] For ease of understanding, the meanings of some symbols involved in the present invention are firstly described in a unified manner below.

[0055] B: The total buffer size of the router interface;

[0056] F: the number of flows in the current router;

[0057] Q: the length of the virtual queue of the stream;

[0058] Wq: weight factor, 0<Wq<1;

[0059] avgQ: smoothed virtual queue length;

[0060] maxQ: the maximum threshold of the virtual queue length;

[0061] minQ: the minimum threshold of the virtual queue length;

[0062] maxRatio: the ratio of maxQ to B / F;

[0063] minRaton: The ratio of minQ to B / F.

[0064] The present invention will be further described now in conjunction with accompanying drawing.

[0065] figure 2 It is a schematic network structure diagram of a content-centric network. As shown in the figure, the network includes a client, a server, and a router between the client and the server. For the convenience of illustration, only one clie...

Abstract

Disclosed in the invention is a content-center network-based congestion control method. The method comprises the following steps that: a CIB value is calculated for a data packet that is going to be sent in a router, wherein the CIB value is used for reflecting a current congestion degree of the router; the CIB value obtained by calculation is compared with the previous CIB value of the data packet that is going to be sent, one CIB value, for expressing a poorest congestion state of the router, of the two CIB values is used as the CIB value of the data packet, and the data packet is sent; and after a client receives the data packet, the size of a sending window is adjusted according to the CIB value of the data packet. When the CIB value reflects that the router is in an idle state, the size of the sending window is increased; and when the CIB value reflects that the router is in a congestion state, the size of the sending window is reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of network communication, in particular to a content-centric network-based congestion control method. Background technique [0002] The Internet has developed tremendously in the past few decades. The traditional Internet mainly focuses on end-to-end communication, but today's Internet mainly focuses on the distribution and acquisition of content. Under this premise, Content-Centric Network (CCN, Content-Centric Network) came into being. CCN is a brand-new network architecture, which completely abandons the way that IP networks use IP addresses to name each host. CCN does not name the host, but the content. In the CCN network, each file is split into several fixed-size blocks (Chunk), and each block is assigned a fixed name, such as: ccnx: / / hpnl.ioa.ac.cn / video / filename / _chunknum / _timestamp. There are two kinds of data packets in CCN, request packet (Interest) and data packet (Data). The Interest package contain...
