Abstract

An SIP conversation system comprises a plurality of SIP terminals containing display units and an SIP server. Each SIP terminal is used for detecting self state change and generating and sending state change information to the SIP server when the self state is changed. The SIP server is used for updating state records of the SIP terminals according to the received SIP terminal state change information and sending the SIP terminal state change information to other SIP terminals in the SIP conversation system. Each SIP terminal is further used for receiving state change information of other SIP terminals in the SIP server, converting the received state change information of the SIP terminals into events convenient for a user of the SIP terminals to recognize and displaying the events on the displaying units.
