Problems solved by technology

However, the plasticizer added to the plastic will be dissolved, migrated and volatilized during the process of processing and use. On the one hand, it will affect the performance of the product, and on the other hand, it will be released into the surrounding environment and may cause damage to human health and the environment.

Embodiment Construction

[0018] A method for measuring plasticizer migration loss in high-impact PVC pipes, comprising the following steps:

[0019] (1) Punch three 50mm×20mm splines of the PVC pipe to be tested on a universal prototype machine, and use an analytical balance with an accuracy of 0.001g to accurately weigh its initial mass, which is recorded as m 1 、m 2 、m 3 .

[0020] (2) Place each spline between two 60mm×30mm×3mm activated carbon adsorption sheets, and align the axis of the spline with the axis of the activated carbon adsorption sheet to obtain three samples forming a sandwich structure.

[0021] (3) Place the three samples horizontally in turn between two 150mm×150mm×5mm glass pieces, and place a 5Kg weight on the glass piece.

[0022] (4) Put the stacked glass plates obtained in step (3) into the xenon arc aging box.

[0023] (5) Start the xenon lamp aging box and adjust the temperature of the aging box to 70°C to start the experiment. After 24 hours, take the sample out of ...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for measuring migration loss of a plasticizer in a high impact PVC (polyvinyl chloride) pipe material. The method comprises the following steps: (1) blanking three sample strips on the PVC pipe material to be measured through an all-purpose sampling machine, accurately weighing the initial weights of the three sample strips, and respectively recording the initial weights to be m1, m2 and m3; (2) putting each sample strip between two active carbon adsorption sheets, aligning the axis center of each sample strip to the axis centers of the active carbon adsorption sheets to obtain three samples forming an interlayer structure; (3) sequentially and horizontally putting the three samples between two glass sheets, putting a counterweight with the weight of 5Kg on the glass sheets; (4) putting the accumulated glass sheets which are obtained in the step (3) and used for testing into a xenon lamp aging box; (5) starting the xenon lamp aging box and adjusting the temperature of the aging box to be 70 DEG C and starting experiment, after 24h, taking out the sample strips from the xenon lamp aging box, accurately weighing the final weights of the sample strips, and respectively recording the final weights to be m1', m2' and m3'; (6) calculating the weight loss so as to obtain the migration rate of the plasticizer. The method is simple and practical, and high in accuracy.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the detection field of PVC pipes, in particular to a method for measuring the migration loss of plasticizers in high-impact PVC pipes. Background technique [0002] The definition of plasticizer migration given in the Plastics Industry Dictionary refers to the phenomenon that when soft polyvinyl chloride and other resins containing plasticizers come into contact with other objects, the plasticizer will overflow and spread to other objects. The definition of plasticizer migration given by the international standard ISO177 is: the mass loss of a piece of plasticized plastic sheet placed between two adsorption sheets made of other materials and in close contact with it under specified conditions. [0003] A plasticizer is a substance added to a material (usually a plastic, resin or elastomer) to improve its processability, moldability, flexibility and stretchability. Adding a plasticizer can reduce the melt viscosity, glass trans...
