The air conditioner comprises an air conditioner body and an infrared detecting unit arranged on the air conditioner body. The air conditioner air-supplying mode determining method comprises the following steps of detecting and acquiring at least one piece of feature information for showing features of at least one user when the users exist in the space of the air conditioner; determining a first area of the at least one user in the space by using the infrared detecting unit; determining a first air-supplying mode, which corresponds to the feature information, of the air conditioner body on the basis of the feature information; and adjusting the current air-supplying mode of the air conditioner body into a first air-supplying mode so as to supply air to the first area. By using the air conditioner air-supplying mode determining method, the technical problem that in the prior art, the air-supplying mode of an air conditioner only can be adjusted by receiving commands of a remote controller is solved.
