Abstract

The invention relates to a method for capturing main components, such as nicotine, glycerinum, propylene glycol, aldehydes and volatile organic compounds, in smoke releasing substances of an electronic cigarette. The method comprises the following steps of smoking an electronic cigarette sample by adopting a linear smoking machine according to an ISO smoking mode, and capturing particle phase parts in the smoke releasing substances through a 44mm cambridge filter. A cold trap capturer is connected between a capturer and a smoking needle barrel of the smoking machine and is used for capturing a gas phase component penetrating through the cambridge filter; the particle phase part captured by the cambridge filter is subjected to ultrasonic extraction, and the amount of target analytes in capturing liquid and the amount of target analytes in extracting liquid are respectively measured; the total amount of the main target analytes in the smoke releasing substances in the electronic cigarette is calculated. According to the capturing of the main components in the smoke releasing substances of the electronic cigarette, the capturing is comprehensive, the capturing efficiency is high, and the accuracy and the scientificity of main component detection for the smoke releasing substances of the electronic cigarette are improved.
