Abstract

The invention discloses a traditional Chinese medicament for treating wind-phlegm in lung type asthma. The medicament is characterized by being prepared from the following medicinal materials in parts by weight: 10 parts of lepidium sativum, 10 parts of immature trifoliate-orange fruit, 6 parts of liquorice, 20 parts of dried ginger, 25 parts of liriodendron tulipifera, 15 parts of betel, 20 parts of lloydia thibetica baker, 5 parts of asarum, 10 parts of tibetan berneuxia, 15 parts of codonopsis pilosula, 40 parts of yam, 10 parts of semen raphani and 8 parts of lan tree flower. The medicinal materials are compatible and synergetic by scientific formula and proper proportion, and the prepared traditional Chinese medicament has the effects of dispelling wind and flushing phlegm, depressing qi and relieving asthma, and can be used for effectively treating wind-phlegm in lung type asthma. Five years of application on 120 patients indicates that the effective rate of the traditional Chinese medicament is 96 percent, and relapse is prevented after healing.
