This invention relates to the field of traditional Chinese medicine fermentation technology, specifically a stirring device for fermenting traditional Chinese medicine preparations. The device includes a stirring tank with a horizontal plate fixedly connected to its bottom. Multiple support legs are fixedly connected to the bottom of the horizontal plate. A stirring assembly is installed inside the stirring tank, and a motor for driving the stirring assembly is fixedly connected to the bottom of the horizontal plate. The stirring assembly includes a rotating rod rotatably connected to the inner bottom of the stirring tank, multiple spiral plates fixedly connected to the outer side of the rotating rod, multiple filter plates slidably connected to the inner wall of the stirring tank, and counterweight balls fixedly connected to both ends of each filter plate. Multiple air supply pipes are connected to the outer side of the stirring tank to blow away the traditional Chinese medicine residue on the surface of the filter plates. Multiple waste frames for collecting the traditional Chinese medicine residue are fixedly connected to the top end of the rotating rod. This invention solves the problem of difficulty in timely filtering residues from traditional Chinese medicine extracts, preventing ineffective components from the traditional Chinese medicine from contaminating and affecting the efficacy of the fermented liquid.

Herbal medicine composition and methods of using same
A herbal medicine composition is provided for treating vertigo and / or dizziness comprising: Alisma orientale rhizome; Atractylodes macrocephala root; Citri reticulatae pericarpium; Citri reticulatae viride pericarpium; and Folium nelumbinis. The vertigo and / or dizziness of present interest should be understood to mean vertigo and / or dizziness arising as a result of water or dampness of the stomach. Methods of treating such vertigo and / or dizziness by administering the herbal medicine composition to a patient in need thereof are also provided.
