Abstract

The invention discloses a comprehensive ulcerative colitis model using C-BF to protect epithelial cell lines of a mouse and a human being with colorectal carcinoma. Krait antibacterial peptide cathelicin-BF has broad-spectrum antibacterial activity, especially on Gram-negative bacteria. The pathological mechanisms of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBDs) including ulcerative colitis (UC) and Crohn's disease (CD) are not clear yet. According to the invention, 1) a 3% dextran sulphate sodium salt (DSS) induced mouse ulcerative colitis model is established, rectal injection of a PBS solution of C-BF is carried out on a mouse once each day, the dosage of C-BF is 5 mg / kg, rectal injection lasts for 1 week, the body weight of the mouse is weighed and recorded during an experimental period, and the conditions of hemoproctia and excrement forming of the mouse are observed; and 2) for Caco-2 cells, the concentration of the antibacterial peptide C-BF in a culture medium is 25 mu g / ml, and after the Caco-2 cells are treated with the antibacterial peptide C-BF for 24 h, the Caco-2 cells are treated with 3% DSS for 24 h.
