Abstract

The embodiments of the invention provide a rollback configuration method and apparatus. The method is applied to a master control board of a network device. The network device further comprises a plurality of interface boards. The method comprises: before rollback configuration is executed, determining whether interface boards to be rolled back are abnormal according to the equipment information of in-place interface boards in a configuration file; when the interface boards to be rolled back are abnormal, generating a pre-configuration board according to the equipment information and the configuration information of the in-place interface boards; and when the rollback configuration is completed, after the interface boards to be rolled back are normally started, recovering the configuration of the interface boards to be rolled back according to the pre-configuration board. According to the invention, rollback re-configuration is unnecessary, and the interface configuration of the interface boards to be rolled back can be directly recovered according to the pre-configuration board, such that it is ensured that services on the interface boards to be rolled back are not interrupted.
