Abstract

The invention relates to a checkpoint traffic information-based method for judging traffic violation of long-distance passenger vehicles. The checkpoint traffic information-based method includes subjecting checkpoint monitoring equipment on the road to recording, comparing and extracting to generate a 2 Am-5 Am record set of the long-distance passenger vehicle traffic on that day; according to space intersection analysis of a road net and the checkpoint, extracting a 2 Am-5 Am traffic record set of one vehicle driving on the expressway; performing combined probability operation on number of passed checkpoints and record number of the vehicle, and performing solving through a road net analysis path to reliably judge suspect vehicles with traffic violation driving at 2 Am to 5 Am; comparing connecting transport vehicle information to judge traffic violation of the long-distance passenger vehicles driving at 2 Am to 5 Am. The checkpoint traffic information-based method has the advantages that GPS (global position system) equipment is not required on the vehicle, and driving paths are automatically acquired; according to a long-distance passenger vehicle driving rule and driving frequency, suspect vehicle license plate number recognition accuracy is verified, and the vehicles with the traffic violation are truly judged.
