Abstract

A crane monitoring system for determining a crane maintenance condition is disclosed. The crane monitoring system includes sensors for measuring acceleration, a processing unit operatively coupled to the sensors, and a database storing computer-executable instructions. The computer-executable instructions, when executed by the processing unit, cause the processing unit to perform a number of functions including determining at least one crane maintenance condition based on a signal from a sensor.
