The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for a mobile communications unit (12) of a motor vehicle (10), comprising a first mobile communications module (34) for a mobile communications transmission according to a first mobile communications standard or a plurality of mobile communications standards and a second mobile communications module (36) for a mobile communications transmission according to a second mobile communications standard, wherein the first mobile communications module (34) has a communication interface (60) for exchanging control and user data, which interface is connected to an electrical connection (30) for electrically connecting the circuit arrangement to a an external processor unit (14). Reliable mobile communications transmission for language data and other digital user data should be rendered possible with low expenditure on development and circuitry.
