Abstract

The invention provides a method for data collection of a mobile GIS (Geographic Information System) platform. The method comprises the steps of obtaining a track sliding across a touch screen of the mobile GIS platform; sampling continuous nodes on the track; generating a geometric object according to the continuous nodes; inputting the geometric object in a GIS. The invention also provides a device for the data collection of the mobile GIS platform. The device comprises an obtaining module used for obtaining the track sliding across the touch screen of the mobile GIS platform, a sampling module used for sampling the continuous nodes on the track, a generating module used for generating the geometric object according to the continuous nodes and an inputting module used for inputting the geometric object in the GIS. According to the method and the device, provided by the embodiment of the invention, data can be more flexibly collected by an outdoor worker.
