Broadly speaking, in situations where a group of people get together as might occur at a social event or other type of event, it can be difficult to identify music that suits everyone's tastes. However, if each user has an associated music library, these users' music libraries can be analyzed collectively to determine music that is likely to be liked by as many users as possible within a group of users. Various aspects of a user's music library, such as the contents of those libraries, indicated preferences, and playback history, etc., can be analyzed to generate a crowdsourced group playlist of songs.
