An image processing method and apparatus for predicting motion vectors and disparity vectors are disclosed. The image processing method according to one embodiment may determine a disparity vector of a current block included in a color image by using a depth image corresponding to the color image. 3D video can be efficiently compressed by predicting motion vectors or disparity vectors using depth images.
