Abstract

The integral forging method is suitable for integral forging and forming of flange connecting pipe sections of nuclear reactor pressure vessels. On the basis that the feature size of the integrated connecting pipe section is determined, the size of a blank is designed; meanwhile, a triangular anvil, an n-shaped hammer, a horse lever, a flanging punch and a flanging lower die are manufactured at the same time; in the forging stage, the hollow blank with a middle ring belt is pressed in the position of a connecting pipe ring belt through the triangular anvil, a concave cross piece is pre-pressed, a connecting pipe boss is formed, and then the n-shaped hammer and the horse lever are used for conducting chambering to form a blank forge piece; finally, the blank forge piece is roughly machined to obtain the flanged blank, the connecting pipe is flanged to from a front-end pipe nozzle, and the finished integral connecting pipe section is obtained.
