Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of plant protection and particularly relates to a simple and efficient field inoculation method for a rice false smut germ. The method comprises the steps: picking rice false smut balls from rice ears in a rice field at a rice ripening period in last year, drying the rice false smut balls in the air indoors, loading the dried rice false smut balls into plastic bags or plastic bottles, and placing the plastic bags or plastic bottles ay an indoor shady place; and at a 3-4 stage of young panicle differentiation of rice, putting the rice false smut balls preserved in last year into clean water, carrying out soaking for 3-5 hours, then, carrying out oscillating so as to enable rice false smut powder on the outside surface of each rice false smut ball to gradually fall off until rice grains are clearly discernible, then, enabling the rice false smut powder to be completely scattered into water, carrying out filtering with gauze so as to filter off grain residues and other foreign bodies, then, pouring filter liquor into a sprayer, adjusting water volume according to a spraying area, directly spraying the filter liquor to fields at 10 am to 5 pm in a sunny day, and swinging the sprayer during spraying so as to achieve uniform spraying as far as possible. By adopting the method disclosed by the invention, the onset ear ratio of field artificial inoculation of rice false smut can reach about 30% and is extremely stable.
