Abstract

The invention discloses a tunable laser pumping system and a method for obtaining a tunable laser by using the same and belongs to the optical field. The tunable laser pumping system solves a problem that it is difficult for a conventional high-energy tunable laser pumping optical path implemented by an optical beam splitter with a fixed splitting ratio to cater to the optimum pumping conditions of various tunable laser materials. A servo motor is used for driving a beam splitter with gradually-changed reflectivity to move in order that the laser spots emitted to the beam splitter with gradually-changed reflectivity laterally moves on the surface of the beam splitter with gradually-changed reflectivity. Laser reflected by the beam splitter with gradually-changed reflectivity is used as a pumping source of an oscillator. The oscillator outputs a tunable seed laser under the effect of the pumping source and the tunable seed laser is emitted to an amplifier. The laser transmitting the beam splitter with gradually-changed reflectivity is emitted to a total reflector. The laser reflected by the total reflector is emitted to the amplifier used as pumping light. The amplifier outputs the tunable laser after amplifying the tunable seed laser with the pumping of the pumping light. The tunable laser pumping system is used for outputting high-energy tunable laser.
