Problems solved by technology

[0004] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method and corresponding system for accurately identifying moisture-resistant varieties by using the difference of new adventitious root systems, so as to overcome the instability of crop physiological index determination in traditional identification methods, and overcome the difficulties in field experiments and pot experiments. It is difficult to maintain a uniform environment, and the root system that is most sensitive to moisture damage is difficult to obtain in its entirety.

Embodiment 1

[0030] 1.1 Test material

[0031] The present invention is illustrated by taking two extreme DH series TF57 (sensitive to moisture damage) and TF58 (material resistant to moisture damage) screened out before as examples. This material was provided by the University of Tasmania, Australia.

[0032] 1.2 Test method

[0033] (1) filter paper method germination of barley seeds

[0034] Select 100 newly harvested seeds of TF57 and TF58 with the same plumpness, put them into a moist petri dish with a cover covered with germination paper, put 20-30ml of deionized water in it, and place in a 25°C refrigerator. Soak the seeds in the incubator to accelerate germination. When the buds grow to 1-2cm, stop the germination, and select consistent ones to take out from the incubator for testing.

[0035] (2) Preparation for barley growth organic substrate

[0036] The preparation of organic matrix is made by mixing vermicompost, vermiculite, perlite and trace elements. The weight percen...

Abstract

The invention provides a method for identifying a moisture-resistant barley variety and a moisture damage treatment system for the method. The identifying method comprises the following steps: 1) accelerating germination of barley seeds with a filter paper method; 2) transplanting the seedlings with consistent growth vigour and obtained in the step 1) to a cultivation cabinet filled with equivalent organic medium; 3) dividing the planted seedlings into a control group and a treatment group, and performing moisture damage treatment on the seedlings in the treatment group at different growth stages; 4) then selecting single barley root systems, and taking phenotypic characteristics of adventitious roots and / or the area of ventilating tissues generated in the adventitious roots as important indexes for identifying the barley moisture resistance. The identifying method based on the adventitious root system characteristics, provided by the invention, has the advantages of being simple in phenotype, accurate in result and easy to screen and distinguish; the moisture damage treatment system for the method is simple to install, flexible to assemble, capable of utilizing the organic medium circularly, free of nutrient loss, and capable of reducing experiment error.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of agricultural technology, and in particular relates to a stress resistance identification and screening method of crop germplasm resources and a suitable wet damage treatment system. Background technique [0002] Wet damage refers to the harm to the normal growth and development of crops when the soil moisture reaches saturation. It occurs widely in the world, especially in North America, Australia, China, India and other countries. Barley is one of the most important and oldest cultivated crops in the world. Its sown area and total output are second only to corn, wheat, and rice, ranking fourth among cereal crops. Wet damage is one of the important adversity factors affecting the growth and development of barley, especially in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River in my country. It occurs during the whole growth period of wheat crops, and different periods have different effects on the final yield and ...
