[0032] Exosomes derived from MSCs for the treatment of chronic inflammation and pathological osteogenesis in AS

[0033] (1) Volunteer screening

[0034] Volunteers aged 20 to 30 were selected to undergo a physical examination according to the required items. After passing the test, an appointment was made to extract 30ml of bone marrow.

Abstract

The invention discloses application of an exosome of a mesenchymal stem cell source in preparation of a drug for treating ankylosing spondylitis. The exosome of the mesenchymal stem cell source has the inhibition effect on both chronic inflammations and pathological osteogenesis and has the advantages of being low in side effect and cost and more durable in effect.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the use of exosomes derived from mesenchymal stem cells, in particular to the application of exosomes derived from mesenchymal stem cells in the preparation of drugs for treating ankylosing spondylitis. Background technique [0002] Ankylosing spondylitis (AS for short) is a common autoimmune disease with a relatively high prevalence rate of about 0.2-0.54% in my country (see: Rong J, Jieruo G. Spondyloarthritis in China. Current pinion in rheumatology .2013;25(4):460-7.). AS tends to occur in young men and often involves the axial joints. The main clinical and pathological features are chronic progressive inflammation and pathological osteogenesis (see: Braun J, Sieper J. Ankylosing spondylitis. Lancet. 2007; 369(9570): 1379-90.). However, the pathogenesis of AS is still unclear, and the relationship between its two major pathological features-inflammation and osteogenesis is also unclear. The unclear pathogenesis lea...
