The method comprises steps as follows: 1) the multiple floating balls are evenly tied on the pipe; 2) the pipe is transported into a river channel from a welding platform; 3) two ends of the pipe are connected with hanging point ropes of derrick masts on both sides; 4) multiple positioning hanging point boats are evenly arranged on one side of the pipe and are connected onto the pipe by the aid of hanging point ropes; 5) water is injected into the pipe, and meanwhile, the floating balls are symmetrically deflated, so that the pipe is immersed in a preset groove at the river bottom; 6) the pipe is disconnected from the hanging point rope of the derrick mast on the left side, the hanging point rope of the derrick mast on the right side and the hanging point ropes of all the positioning hanging point boats, the preset groove is back filled with fine sand and stone chip cushions, and the river channel is restored.
