The boarding / alighting safety device comprises a guide device (100), a connection rod (200) and a control switch (300). The guide device (100) is arranged at one side of a crawling ladder (400) of the travelling crane and extends along an extension direction of the crawling ladder (400). The connection rod (200) is slidingly arranged on the guide device (100). The top end of the connection rod (200) extends to the top of the crawling ladder (400) and the bottom end of the connection rod (200) extends to the bottom end of the crawling ladder (400). The connection rod (200) is provided with a stirring part (210). The control switch (300) is arranged at one side of the connection rod (200) provided with the stirring part (210) and is used for controlling travelling crane motor circuit on / off switching. The control switch (300) is a spring normally open switch.
