Abstract

The invention provides an automatic application scene switching method. The automatic application scene switching method comprises the following steps of: obtaining the current time; comparing the current time with template calling times of various application scenes in multiple pre-stored application scenes; and, when the template calling time of a certain application scene is the same as the current time, loading a template in a target application scene corresponding to the template calling time, which is the same as the current time, by a video processor module and a programmable logic device in a video controller, such that the video controller is switched into the target application scene. The invention further provides the video controller applied to executing the method. According to the automatic application scene switching method and the video controller disclosed by the invention, wrong application scene switching operation can be reduced; various application scenes are executed punctually and accurately; due to multiple combinations of multiple video input sources and multiple application scenes, the playing effect is more colourful; furthermore, manpower can be reduced; it is unnecessary for a specially-assigned person to switch the application scene; and thus, the cost is reduced.
