Abstract

The invention discloses a control method for controlling the brightness of a display screen of an electronic device. A pixel array is formed on the display screen. The control method comprises the following steps of: determining adjustment parameters according to target brightness and current display screen brightness, wherein the adjustment parameters comprise a level number of the target brightness adjusted from the current display screen brightness, a brightness change value of each level of adjustment and duration of each level of adjustment; and adjusting the brightness of pixels according to the adjustment parameters. Therefore, a brightness adjustment process can be relatively stable and smooth through setting the reasonable adjustment parameters and relatively great brightness change is gradually accumulated through each level of tiny brightness change, so that the brightness adjustment aim is realized; meanwhile, eyes are gradually adaptive to the new brightness through brightness transition in an adjustment process, so that users feel comfortable and eye protection is facilitated. The invention further discloses a control device and the electronic device.
